Welcome to Prevolt Inc. ("Prevolt," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Prevolt operates the website located at https://prevolt.ai and any associated applications, platforms, or services (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in connection with the Service. It applies to all visitors, prospects, customers, and others who access or use the Service.

1.1 Controller vs. Processor / Service Provider

This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices when we act as a data controller (for example, when you visit our website, request a demo, create an account, or otherwise interact with Prevolt directly).

If you use the Service through an organization (a "Customer"), for example, as an employee, contractor, or other authorized user, then the Customer may control your account and the data processed through the Service ("Customer Data"). In that context, Prevolt typically acts as a data processor (under GDPR/UK GDPR) and/or a service provider/processor (under applicable U.S. state privacy laws) on behalf of the Customer. Privacy requests relating to Customer Data should generally be directed to the Customer.

This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms have the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Service.

2. Definitions

• Access. We may access Customer Data only as necessary to provide the Service (for example, to troubleshoot, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations).
• Sub-processors. We may use Service Providers (sub-processors) to help us provide the Service (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers). These Service Providers are obligated (for example, by contract) to protect Customer Data and to process it only on our behalf.
• Customer responsibilities. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights and notices in place for Customer Data they provide to us.

4.1 Use of Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Our Service may use artificial intelligence ("AI") and machine learning technologies to generate reports, summaries, and insights.

• AI may process publicly available and licensed data sources to generate insights.
• AI may process Customer Data solely to provide the features and functionality requested by the Customer and authorized users.
• We may use Service Providers (including AI model providers) to help deliver AI-enabled features. When we do, we take steps (including through contractual and technical controls, as appropriate) to limit their processing of data to providing services to us.
• We do not use Customer Data or Personal Data to train general-purpose AI models unless we clearly disclose it and, where required, obtain your consent.
• AI-generated outputs are informational and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They should not be relied upon as professional advice, and users should independently verify outputs as appropriate.
• Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human review.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

7. Data Retention

Customer Data. We retain Customer Data as directed by the Customer and in accordance with our contractual commitments. After termination of a Customer's account, we delete or return Customer Data in accordance with the applicable agreement, subject to legal requirements and reasonable backup and archival practices.

8. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Measures may include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, logging and monitoring, and employee training.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ.

If you are an authorized user of a Customer account, the Customer may control how your information is handled; in that case, please contact the Customer first. We will support the Customer in responding to requests as required by law and our agreements.

Where applicable, you may designate an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

If we deny a request, you may have the right to appeal depending on your location and applicable law. You can submit an appeal by replying to our denial notice or by contacting us at privacy@prevolt.ai.

10.2 EEA and UK: GDPR / UK GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), you may have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Our legal bases for processing Personal Data may include:

10.3 California: CCPA / CPRA

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (as defined by the CPRA), and the right to non-discrimination.

No sale. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on how our cookies and similar technologies are configured, some disclosures (for example, to certain advertising partners) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. Where applicable, you can opt out through (i) our cookie preference tools (where available), (ii) browser/device controls, and (iii) legally recognized opt-out preference signals.
